Steamed bread

It's been rainning on and off all day today.

The rainy season has set in perfectly.
Tsuyu is the name of the rainy season in Japan.

The humidity is high today.
In the afternoon,I had a nap on a tatami mat.
Sometimes it is very comfortable for me to sleep on a tatami mat.Especially for the rainy season.

I wanted to quit the habit of sleeping in the afternoon,but I gave in to the temptation to sleep.
The righteous man sins before an open chest...

Anyway,I got up at 4 o'clock and I ate japanese steamed breads and drunk green tea.
I think japanese steamed bread is one of the best sweets in japan.

Baiu

I heard that the rainy season would begin in japan.

Baiu,,,I don't like this baiu so much.

I went to the library,and I borrowed 10 books.
After that I read several books at home.
And,I slept.

Tomorrow I have to go to dentist again.
The last time when I went to dentist was 10 days ago.

I felt the swift passage of time.
I can do nothing about the inexorable march of time.

An ox is taken by the horns, and a man by his word.

I have not had a nap today.
I have sit up from morning to night.

I think that this is genuine healthy life.
I mean,if I slept all the time,I would be a cattle soon...

But,I love nap.

I think I will sleep eight hours from now.
At least eight hours.

There is heavy feeling in eyelids.
I am very sleepy.I should go to bed soon,,,because I am so sleepy,but I think maybe there is something to do.

Anyway,now I stop writing.

Pleasant working conditions

I have slept about 14 hours...
It was a very long sleep,but there was one particular reason.

I had to change my life style.
Untill yesterday,I had kept on doing something at midnight.

I was doing something through the night and into the morning.
I thought it was not good.Maybe,it was a unhealthy life.

I want to give up harmful and unhealthy habits.

In the morning I took a walk around my house.
And,in the cool brilliance of the dawn I could not help but feel elated.

Nobody was there.

Now I am making a iced latte in the kitchen.
This is a little bit bitter coffee.

Birds twitters in the forest.
I hardly see birds here,but I just listen to their voices.

Acorns

I ate two breads at night.
Acorns were good till bread was found.

I have not eaten acorns.
I just imagine the taste of it...

Breads which I ate today are roughly circular in shape.
I spread margarine on bread.
Margarine is better than butter because it is lower in fat.
Besides,it tastes good.

Rice cakes boiled in vegetable soup

Today,I ate rice cakes boiled in vegetable soup.
In Japan, we have rice-cake soup on New Year's Day.

Now is not new year's day,I happened to eat it.
I found cakes boied in vegetable soup of emergency food in the kitchen.

It was not so good as that...

I ate it to stave off hunger pains.

Who goes to bed supperless, all night tumbles and tosses.

Rain, rain, go away, come again another day

Today,it's just spitting.
I wish it would stop raining.

Now,I am drinking Iced-coffee.
Recently,I do nothing,,,but I noticed that doing nothing is the best policy to live.

Well,exactly,,,my hometown might be one of the most boring place in the world.
And,I am the most bored man in this country...

But,,,I can continue to live in this isolated island,and I watch something from my window.
Sometimes,I can be touched by the sunset.
That's close enough...

Midnight flits

About midnight,I went to a convenience store near my house.

I thought I wanted to drink something,so I went there.

It took me about 10 minutes to get there by car.

It was a short drive,and I did not see other cars...

At a convieniece store called "Thanks",I bought a Yukijirushi coffee (it cost 100 yen),and I bought a pack of cigarette.

I heard that here in japan it would be rainning tomorrow.

historical amnesia

I went to the dentist,after that,I ate dinner and I slept.

I forgot what kind of foods I ate at dinner...

This must be an amnesia.

I have woke up untill morning.
5 minutes ago,I took a leisurely stroll near my house.

I enjoyed fine weather.The weather's perfect.

What I can say with confidence is that,,,

I think I have to sleep now.
Because,I have to go to dentist today.

The dentist gave me pointers on how to care for my teeth.

I don't know why,,,I think that girls in dentist are very cute.

I can't bear the thought of whining drill,but if dental hygienists are beautiful,and even if there are negative dental experience,,,I can stand it.

So,anyway,I will go outside a little,and I will watch the sun and after that I will sleep soon.

Now the time is 5 am.

Just on the tip of my tongue.

Today,I have not done anything.
Today was a sunday...

Nay,,,I almost forgot this.
I went to the library near my house.
And,I borrowed some books from the library.

I like tranquility of a library.
But,sometimes there are people with severe body odor...

Today also,I met some such a people in a library.

I had to avoid a disaster,so I had an escape.

The best strategy is to run away.

I don't intend to take refuge in cynicism.
I am just a bromidrophobia.

nap at home

I have a nap time routine.

Especially,while I am travelling,I cannot get through a day without a nap.

When I was a businessman in japan,I thought "I wish I could take a nap everyday".
In an office,I worked from 9 to 6,and I don't take an afternoon nap.

But,,,I know that many japanese businessmen grab a nap.
In particular,japanese door-to-door peddlers often sleep while they work.

Napping spots are park or car.

Today also,I spent most of the day taking a nap.
In my dream,I ate a Japanese vermicelli.

Then,I don't know why,,,in the evening,the dinner was a japanese vermicelli.

It was prophetic dream.

There's nothing like Japanese vermicelli during the summer.

Outsider's perspective

Folly and learning often dwell together.

Now,I am sitting in my chair in my room.

Here in japan,it is 23:18 o'clock.
I am exposed to a warm environment.
It's hot!!!

Some people say,"They must hunger in frost that will not work in heat.",,,I cannot believe in such a phrase.

I can not work like an ant.
I just want to live my life from a spectator's standpoint.

Curry

Tonight,I ate curry rice.
Curry is a type of food from India,consisting of meat or vegetables in a spicy sauce.
But,,,japanese curry is different from indian curry,I think so.

I like both japanese curry and indian curry.

In japan,rice is the main crop grown in the area.

Anyway,today,I had nothing to do except drawing pictures...
